Mesmerized
The creature is colored in a unique way. It was orange, crimson, blue, and black in color, and its large legs sprang from his torso like a show of strength. Mark crept closer and closer to the creature until he was right beside it. Little, sharp spikes lined his legs, which he noticed with surprise. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. He was well aware of what he might have discovered. Mark is completely taken aback.

Mark has a feeling this is some kind of prehistoric crab. The 95-million-year-old crab is one of the oldest creatures on the planet. When Mark was younger, he remembered their distinct characteristics when he read about their demise. Mark took another look at the crab, noting his enormous size, bent claws, large eyes without sockets, and leg-like mouth. His heart started to race.
