A few years ago, one user named “Hammerraptor” wrote: “Worked as FF/ EMT for the local FD. I worked in a car accident. We parked near the scene of the ambulance and truck. The rookie cop decided not to like where the ambulance was parked. I decided to get in and move the ambulance out of traffic about 150- 200 ft away from the scene. Any additional equipment we may have needed and emergency can transport immediately.

“The chief (55yr female) went with the policeman to the fisticuffs. Only be mad. He managed to pull her away from the officer. Within five minutes, the police chief arrived on the spot. The shouting match about the PD followed for about 20 minutes, not messing with our events. The survivor of the crash was all right, and we were cleared of the scene fairly soon. The PD nicely agreed that night to purchase dinner for the firing squad. The manager has not been reprimanded and has been a success story around the agency, he said.
