Texas

We all know that the continental United States’ biggest state is none other than the Lone Star State. In 2019, Texas shot up the ranking of inbound moves by five spots. So that you know, the state does not only welcome oil field workers and cowboys! The U.S. Census Bureau data has revealed that Texas boasts the third youngest population in the country. There is also a hip and fun atmosphere to go with this. “It has a handful of large metropolitan areas, with lots of cool neighborhoods, amazing food, barbecue, and nightlife,” said a Reddit user with the username getoutmyway98. They went on to explain, “Cost of living is low, so suburban Texans, I find, tend to live in pretty big houses.”

Nevada

For a lot of people, Nevada is nothing more than the gambling capital of the United States. In 2019, there were Americans who decided to go and live there instead of leave. Albert Hagan is a former resident who talked about how the state is a melting pot. On Quora, he said, “There are a few proud natives who were born there, but most residents are from somewhere else, so the people are interesting.” Despite this, he was not happy with the wages that he earned in the Silver State. This is why he moved out of there. “I would move back to Nevada in a minute if I could make what I make now in my current field,” he said. “Not happening any time soon.”
