A Quora user by the name of Jon Mixon said, “You can buy a nice home on a sizable lot for far less than you would in many major metro areas.” He also talked about the amazing scenery, which new residents also love: “The shoreline is one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. Living there would be like a dream for many… except during hurricane season.”

Her Quora answer went on, “The harvest season brings deep red sunsets and striking sunrises… [and] at night the stars are clear and numerous.” In 2019, more than 70 percent of those who left did so for work. It is a good idea to look for a job before you pack your bags and actually move there.
