When queried about the casting for the show, they stated that their daughter and her boyfriend were also cast. To make matters worse, the show’s producers had given them a fictitious past to invent.

Many people were intrigued by a peculiar but loving family dynamic. They laughed at what appeared to be real antics. Nothing was real; everything was a scripted production. The producers allegedly briefed the family on what would happen in each episode.
