She carefully got up from her chair and took in the quiet of her home. Abby understood she was home alone with her father because her mother was eating dinner at a friend’s place. But it seems that he had also left now. Abby found this really odd as she was aware she wasn’t supposed to be at home alone. Her age was just twelve.
