I’m With The Band: Nasty Cherry (2019)

In today’s music industry, there is actually no clear roadmap to success, but global pop star Charli XCX has decided to handpick four women who would form Nasty Cherry, an alt-pop band. Nasty Cherry is the latest signing to the global pop star’s label and is unconventionally composed of first timers and seasoned musicians. This six-episode series tell their origin story – starting from when they moved in together and the band’s first practice to their debut single release and first performance and everything in between. I’m With the Band: Nasty Cherry is an intimate look into how dreams come true and follows the members of the band as they navigate the music world, playing things by ear, and in the process, blow up Instagram feeds. With Charli’s guidance and support, Nasty Cherry can catch fire…or totally implode if they cannot keep their insecurities and egos in check, and in this intimate and unfiltered series, audiences find out what makes – or breaks – a badass band. Available on November 15.

Klaus (2019)

When Jesper (Jason Schwartzman) is recognized as the worst student of the postal academy, he gets stationed on some frozen island located above the Arctic Circle. Since the island’s feuding locals rarely exchange words let alone letters, Jesper thinks of just giving up but he finds an ally – the local teacher Alva (Rashida Jones). He also discovers the mysterious carpenter Klaus (Oscar® winner J.K. Simmons), who lives in a cabin that is full of handmade toys. The unlikely friendships bring back laughter to Smeerensburg, establishing a new legacy of kind and generous neighbors, stockings carefully hung by the chimney and magical lore. Directed by Despicable Me creator Sergio Pablos, Klaus is an animated holiday comedy that co-stars Joan Cusack, Norm Macdonald and Will Sasso. Available on November 15.
