It is hard to think of a sci-fi franchise that is more iconic than Star Wars. Mark Hamill made it big by playing Luke Skywalker in the movies. His success, however, was not always good when it came to his career. There was apparently a producer who once said this to him: “I don’t want Luke Skywalker in my film.” It was an iconic role, which turned out to be a double-edged sword. We are glad that he was able to land voiceover roles as well. In the past, he played the Joker in the animated version of Batman.

After becoming one of the biggest stars of his time, we bet he did not mind doing off-screen work. As a voice actor, he could afford not to take care of himself too much. We are sure that his car accident after the first Star Wars film did not help. Did you know that they used his real scars from the crash in The Empire Strikes Back? The actor was able to reprise his iconic role thanks to the sequel trilogy. Apparently, he was told to work out and reclaim some of his former glory. If you ask us, it is clear that he was able to do all that and more! Good for him.
