After all, she had a model for a parent! What made her a household name was her role in Weird Science, a hit teen flick in 1985. In the photo, she played a fantasy woman built by two teens. The movie was a bit problematic, but it was awesome to see a strong woman help turn them into real men.

She is also a children’s cancer charity spokesperson.
