Hard rock was flourishing in 1987, and Guns ‘n’ Roses had been one of the biggest acts in the genre at the time. Axl Rose was the name of the lithe man who could command an entire arena. Their album “Appetite for Destruction” sold over 30 million copies across the globe. It was followed by “Use Your Illusion,” which sold 35 million. At the time, Axl Rose gained a reputation for his vocal range and bad behavior. He would throw bottles at fans and incite riots! Things went downhill for the band due to their personal differences. After going on a long hiatus, they released “Chinese Democracy.” Sadly, it flopped.

When you do not work, it is easy to resort to comfort eating. This was the fate of Axl Rose, who used to be lean in his youth. As time went on, he started to gain more weight. Oh well, we all know that rock ‘n’ roll loves excess! However, it looks like he started chowing down on Taco bell food to replace all the booze. We are glad to report that he has been doing better since then. In 2016, he fronted for an AC/DC tour. Aside from that, his original band has since reunited. We can’t wait to see what they do next!
