Geena Davis Now
To tell you the truth, Geena Davis still looks great. Can you believe that she is now in her sixties? In this photo, she was leading the gender equality campaign of the Women’s Sports Foundation. Even though she has not exactly retired from acting just yet, she spends more time on her advocacies. She has created an institute that looked at gender roles in media. Did you know that she almost made it to the Olympic team for women’s archery in 1999? Say what you will about her, but she is certainly a cool lady.
Axl Rose Then
Hard rock was flourishing in 1987, and Guns ‘n’ Roses had been one of the biggest acts in the genre at the time. Axl Rose was the name of the lithe man who could command an entire arena. Their album “Appetite for Destruction” sold over 30 million copies across the globe. It was followed by “Use Your Illusion,” which sold 35 million. At the time, Axl Rose gained a reputation for his vocal range and bad behavior. He would throw bottles at fans and incite riots! Things went downhill for the band due to their personal differences. After going on a long hiatus, they released “Chinese Democracy.” Sadly, it flopped.
