Mirai Nagasu was already a star even before she competed as a figure skater at the 2018 Winter Olympics, but the games are what made her a real sensation to the public. At the Pyeongchang Games, the young skater became the first American female to land a triple axel at the Olympics, and she won a bronze medal with her teammates.
