Squeaky floorboards are most likely caused by pieces of wood that rub against one another. A quick fix is to fill up a small bottle of some sort, preferably one that squeezes, with baby powder. Then simply dust the powder between the floorboards. Use a makeup brush or any small brush to spread the powder and push it as deep between the boards as it can go and voila.

10. Fix Carpet Indentations With Ice
By simply placing an ice cube on the dents in your carpet you can easily fix them. As the ice cube melts the water is absorbed by the carpet, this will cause it to take back its original shape and strength. Once the ice has melted let the carpet dry, once dry take a hard-bristled brush and tease areas that may still be dented or damaged in some way, they will most likely fluff up back to normal.
