Her Grandparents’ Reality
Alvera Rita continued to provide Gail with the information that she had been looking for for so long. She was completely unprepared for what was about to happen. She stated that her grandfather was of African-American descent, which confirmed the letter “B” on the birth certificate that Geil had discovered earlier. She has now discovered that her grandmother was also of mixed race, which she had no idea about. Alvera explained that she had to cut all links with her parents in order to begin a new life with the man she admired.
Getting To Know Gail’s Father
Was all of the concealings and keeping secrets because Gail’s mother fell in love with Gail’s father the reason for everything? Alvera went on to tell more about Gail’s father, including certain information that even Gail was unaware of at the time. The only thing that distinguished Azemar from other white men of his generation was that he was a white guy. Gail, on the other hand, recalls that he had a disagreement with Alvera regarding some of the things he had said more than one time. He used to make racist slurs while he was watching television every now and again. Alvera realized that she would never be able to be with him if she was black, therefore she made the decision to change her appearance.
