A Homeless Man’s Life Was Changed Completely After Having A Makeover
If you’re well-groomed from head to foot and exude self-assurance, you’re probably succeeding in life. Sadly, Jose Antonio, a poor man living on the streets of Spain, was not one of them. This guy had no idea how much his life would improve as a result of his makeover when he got it.
Struggles
Jose lived as a homeless man in Palma, Spain, for 25 years. Since he had suffered from addiction, he had been living on the streets. The stress of not finding a place to call home has taken its toll on him.

Struggles
A Life Before
Jose, a professional electrician, had done this before, back when he was part of society as anyone else. When grief struck, however, he found it impossible to get out of bed. He was unable to continue working due to his illness. He ended up in the streets after that.

A Life Before
Everyone Knew Him
Since people had become used to seeing this guy around Palma, Jose’s homeless status made him into a kind of celebrity. He was well-liked by the locals. In reality, he was dubbed Josette by his peers.

Everyone Knew Him
Working Odd Jobs
When he was 30 years old, Josette had been homeless. He made ends meet by doing odd jobs, such as acting as a parking attendant in Mallorca. As a result, he was able to afford enough food to get by. Regardless, his working standards were appalling.

Working Odd Jobs
Older Than His Years
Josette was just 55 years old, but he seemed to be much older. He ran into Salva Garcia, a local woman who offered to help him out one day. Garcia had a curious proposition for Josette. The man has no idea that this little deal would change his life forever.

Older Than His Years
The Proposal
Garcia was the owner of La Salvajeria, a nearby hair salon where she planned to give Josette a makeover from head to toe. The best part was that he wouldn’t have to pay anything; it was absolutely free!

The Proposal
Ecstatic
The homeless man realized this was a once-in-a-lifetime chance to change people’s perceptions of him. This would give him the boost of confidence he needed to turn his life around and start searching for a better career.

Ecstatic
First Impression
Josette initially felt out of place in the hair salon. When he sat down in the chair, the first thing he saw was his own reflection in the mirror in front of him. His wrinkled face was framed by his dirty hair, which was encircled by his gray, disheveled beard.

First Impression
The Transformation
Dr. Filmgood, a filmmaker, was requested by Garcia to film the entire transformation. Garcia didn’t post the video for another 18 months, but you can bet it went viral almost immediately once it did.

The Transformation
Longing For A Change
Josette had stopped caring about how he looked a long time ago so he could concentrate on finding food and surviving each day. He was, however, overjoyed at the prospect of a new beginning. He hoped that this makeover would provide him with the self-assurance he so desperately desired.

Longing For A Change
Life-Changing Potential
Jose requested that the mirror doors be kept open so that he could take one more look in the mirror before the big shift. The salon mirrors were then removed, preventing him from seeing himself until the transformation was complete. He was about to burst out laughing when he saw his new look!

Life Changing Potential
Homeless Marine
Let’s meet a few other homeless men who were given life-changing makeovers before we look at Josette’s final transformation. Donald Gould was a retired marine who had been homeless for seven years while he was in his 50s. That you could see at first was a man with tired eyes and a wild beard. Underneath it all, however, was a gifted, classically trained guitarist.

The Road to Nowhere
Gould faced many difficulties in his life, including the loss of his beloved wife in 1998. He lost custody of his son after that because he was considered an unsuitable father. As a result, Gould became despondent and began abusing controlled drugs. He eventually ended up living on the streets.

Life-Saving Project
A number of pianos were scattered around Sarasota, Florida. This made Gould really happy. He’d go find the nearest piano and start playing. This attracted a lot of attention to him. Someone nearby started tipping him after he left a cap on top of the piano.

Life Saving Project
An Instant Hit
A random person recorded Gould playing the piano and uploaded it to YouTube. This drew the attention of news outlets all over the world. This eventually led to an offer of work at a piano bar. In addition, a GoFundMe campaign was set up to raise funds to assist Gould. Then, on “Inside Edition,” Gould was given a makeover.

Recovering In Several Ways
Gould went to a barber for a clean shave and haircut after purchasing a new wardrobe. He was given a second chance at life, and he even got a job as a pianist at a local restaurant! On top of that, he was able to reunite with his son, Donny, who had seen his story on television. After 15 years apart, the father and son were able to reconnect. Gould’s life was in the best shape it had been in a long time.

Down On His Luck
Bobby was a Rome, New York, homeless man. When he bumped into some friendly police officers, he was down on his luck. These cops, on the other hand, were not there to prosecute him or something. They wanted to speak with Bobby, not the other way around. This sparked a chain of events.

Down On His Luck
Pampering
Bobby told the police that what he wanted to do was have a shave and take a hot shower. As a result, these officers gave him everything he asked for. They’ve had a nice shave, a haircut, a shower, and a new outfit made out of donated clothes.

Pampering
Brand-New
Bobby appeared and sounded brand new thanks to these incredible policemen and their assistance. The officers captured the entire incident on video and shared it on their Facebook page. Bobby left with a new shave, a new wardrobe, a bag full of clothes, and a huge grin on his face.

Street Cuts
Mike Bustos is a chic designer who works at Three Squares Studio in an affluent neighborhood in New York City. His services can cost as little as $150, but they may cost as much as $800. Bustos, on the other hand, brings his rechargeable brush, scissors, and combs to the streets of New York to give homeless men and women free quality haircuts.

Seeing Red
This homeless former soldier can be found on a wooden stool in Manhattan’s Bowery and Rivington Streets. “Red” was a nickname given to him by his parents. Despite his hearing impairment, Red will speak to everyone who will listen. Bustos listened to Red when changing his appearance.

Seeing Red
Take It Off
Red told Bustos about moving to New York for a career opportunity that didn’t work out. He ended up living on the streets as a result of this. Since he didn’t know when he’d get his next haircut, the guy begged Bustos to actually shave his hair off. Despite the easy request, he seems to be in good shape.

Take It Off
Incredible Makeover
Bustos went beyond and beyond to make this homeless guy look good. After seeing him sit at the intersection of Bowery and Rivington Street in Manhattan, he agreed to do so. He tried to show how attractive he is. People on the street couldn’t believe they were staring at the same guy after Bustos stopped.

Incredible Makeover
Loud Silence
Bustos also noticed that the majority of homeless persons are very talkative. Jamar, on the other hand, was unusually silent. Outside the Bowery Mission in lower Manhattan, Bustos saw him. The guy asked Jamar if he knew someone who was recruited after he showed him his latest free haircut. Jamar seemed to have gained confidence as a result of the makeover.

Loud Silence
Veterans Day
Jim Wolf was a struggling person with alcoholism and homelessness. He was founded and quickly became Prince Charming by the Degage Ministries for Veterans Day, this homeless U.S. Army veteran. This was a dramatic transformation.

Veterans Day
A New Man
The unbelievable transition phase was shown by a 3-minute recording. The video was done to raise funds and funds for people on the streets. This is the kind of people the ministries of Degage would want to support.

A New Man
A Setback
Wolf’s video soon became viral. He started to attend AA workshops. He was however arrested in 2013 for violation and disruption. Unfortunately, with a new haircut and a youtube film, homelessness and addiction cannot always be fixed. Here’s the hope the Wolf will return to his feet.

London Hairdresser
Joshua Coombes is a London hairstylist who likes free haircuts for street people around the world. He just likes to contact you, listen to your stories, and turn your frowns into smiles. Now, Coombes urges others with the hashtag #DoSomethingForNothing to “do something for nothing.”

Alley Haircut
Coombes worked with PTSD veteran Chris, a displaced military veteran. He gave Chris a free haircut in an alley after he heard his story. Coombes wrote on the interaction in an Instagram article, “When I first saw him, he was in a bad way. Just a few weeks ago an associate of his had died.” Coombes asked Chris before he left what people he needed to meet. His reply? He said people should disseminate as much affection as possible.

Florin
A guy from Romania to Paris, Coombes met Florin. Florin was stroke-suffering. He had no passport, no way to get anywhere, so he slept on the streets when he woke up in a hospital. Yet Florin is optimistic that one day he will go home. During the time they spent with him, Coombes gave him a large haircut and connected Florin. Florin also requested that Coombes meet him until he went home to Romania.

Central London
Coombes met Mathew in a central London park in 2017. A year after, Mathew recalled Coombes’ hair cut back for a bit, and he bumped into him again. Coombes could offer fantastic haircuts, but just listening to those people’s tales is his greatest gift.

RIP Cedric
Coombes met Cedric and presented him with a slight new haircut in 2017. Then, while listening to punk music and swap memories, the pair hung out. Coombes heard the tragic news of the passing of Cedric in 2018. Of course, Coombes is someone who’s forever going to remember.

Taking Time
Jose Antonio back. He’s back. He got a little tense in the chair as Garcia worked her hair magic. On the other hand, Jose hoped that this upgrade would improve his odds of a decent career. You could almost imagine the anguish of Jose worsening.

Taking Time
Adding Color
It took some time to trim Jose’s hair and dyes it to tan, so she looked younger. Garcia and her incredible team of stylists did. To say the least, the findings were amazing! There was a young guy coming up. So there wouldn’t be a transformation.

Adding Color
Shaping His Beard
Jose’s last shaved 25 years ago. The stylists agreed instead to make him a good coupler instead of chopping off his entire barb. They dyed his beard afterward to give him a more polished appearance.

Shaping His Beard
Feeling Lighter
Josette could feel his head become lighter and brighter by the minute as his hair was being removed. Since spending years living in isolation, he found it too strange to get star attention in the salon.

Feeling Lighter
Before and After
Jose’s sad face, long gray hair, and worn-out clothing indicated that the previous 25 years had been trying for him. This, though, will all improve in a matter of hours. Jose’s brows, mustache, and hair were all expertly shaved, reshaped, and dyed.

Before And After
Back To Life
Jose’s beard was smoothed down and his neckline trimmed by Garcia and the other stylists. They also used a beard conditioner to restore some moisture to his beard. Josette reappeared as a brand-new man a few hours later. He wanted a new outfit to go with his new hairstyle.

Back To Life
New Outfit
Garcia purchased Josette a new outfit after the stylists finished styling and shaping his scalp. He went to the locker room to change. He was also perplexed by his appearance. It’s been a long time since anybody has paid him this much attention.

New Outfit
Ray of Light
Josette was immaculately groomed. He used to be 20 years younger! His self-esteem and morale skyrocketed as a result of the transition. He was unrecognizably different. In reality, when he looked in the mirror, he didn’t recognize himself.

Ray Of Light
Gasp
Josette was now able to examine himself in the mirror. He screamed as he saw himself for the first time. As he soaked it all in and looked at his fresh look, his eyes welled up with tears. He couldn’t believe his eyes as he saw what he did.

Gasp
Couldn’t Believe It
Josette couldn’t find the vocabulary to describe what he was like at the time at first. In the video, he says, “I’m so different, no one can remember me until I tell them who I am.” We’re ecstatic for him!

Couldn’t Believe It
New Man
The only thing that changed that day was Josette’s appearance and wardrobe. His stance and mood abruptly shifted, and everyone around him noted it. He seemed to have adopted a more upbeat attitude about life.

New Man
Going Back
Josette returned to the plaza’s monument. He used to smoke cigarettes and spend some time alone here. He had a brand-new outfit, amazing sunglasses, and a brand-new attitude this time. He went unnoticed by the locals.

Going Back
Ladies’ Man
Josette seemed to be a big hit with the ladies, particularly the waitresses at the nearby cafes and restaurants. They couldn’t imagine it was the same homeless man who had previously assisted drivers in parking their vehicles.

Ladies’ Man
No One Knew
Josette went to a nearby bar he frequented until his makeover and bought a drink for himself. When he knew the man in front of him was Josette, the waiter, whom he had talked to several times before, was taken aback.

No One Knew
Going Viral
In celebration of La Salvajerua’s third anniversary, Salva Garcia shared a video of Josette’s amazing transformation on the salon’s website. People all over the world were able to read more about Jose’s story as a result of this. Needless to mention, it was a huge hit for everybody.

Going Viral
Spanish Hugh Jackman
Since the video went viral, Josette was dubbed the “Spanish Hugh Jackman.” Since then, Garcia has revealed that Josette has been given financial assistance by a company, and he is no longer homeless and living on the streets.

Silver Fox
Josette has chosen after his makeup to shave his beard and avoid dying his hair. He chose to be the highlight of the show with his natural silver locks. Now he gives us a few serious vibes of George Clooney!

Not Homeless
Josette was fortunate enough to get free makeup and financial support to keep him afloat. Following the wild shift, he has a part-time career today, an apartment, and a bed every night he comes home to sleep. This is all due to a stranger’s generosity who had the task of helping someone in need.
