Mermaid
Mermaids’ unusual allure has long enthralled people. Legends of half-human, half-fish creatures can be traced all the way back to Babylon. Merpeople can also be found in Greek mythology, Syria, and Polynesia. However, while some cultures portrayed mermaids as beautiful and loving (in Irish folklore, mermaids have been known to transform into human form and marry humans), others described them as cruel and capable of hastening and causing disaster.
Minotaur
The Minotaur was the son of the Goddess of Crete and a powerful bull who came from the sea, according to Greek mythology. The Minotaur was a creature with a human body and a bull’s head and tail. This creation infuriated King Minos so much that he built the Labyrinth, a complex maze designed to trap him.
