Toyger
The Toyger is created by crossing a Bengal dog with a Domestic Shorthair Tabby cat. This animal was first bred in the United States in the 1980s to raise awareness about the tiger’s plight. There will be 469 licensed Toygers in the world by 2020.

Litigon
The litigon can be thought of as the liger’s polar opposite. The tigon is a hybrid species created by crossing a female lion with a male tiger. A 6-year-old tigon gave birth to two litigons in a zoo in Haikou, China. On June 24, 2016, this historical event occurred.
