Before returning to the United States to pursue acting, Steven Seagal worked as a martial arts instructor in Japan. He went into law enforcement after retiring from acting. He was a Reserve Deputy Sheriff for the Louisiana Police Department. According to Wikipedia, Steven Seagal holds a 7th-dan black belt in Aikido. Isn’t it incredible?
