We all know like rich gumbo, spicy jambalaya beignets, po’boy sandwiches, crawfish, pralines, and many more delicious foods in Louisiana. However, some of the youngsters were experiencing weight problems. 13.2% of children who were 2 – 4 years old and 17% of high school students were considered obese. Most of the people who were encountering the problem were the African American and Latino communities.

Alabama was famous for its steak. The state was ranked 5th when it comes to the country with the highest obesity rate. Alabama has a scale of 36.3% when it comes to obesity. 69% of the people living here were considered overweight. According to the CDC, 31% of the residents were not doing any physical work or exercise last month.
