Did you know that Chris Washburn is one of the NBA’s most powerful players? He was the third overall selection in the 1986 draft. He later played for the Golden State Warriors, but his career was cut short due to drug usage. He got a lifetime ban after failing three drug tests in three years. In 2000, he cleaned up his act and collaborated with his fiancée to open a fried chicken restaurant. However, this enterprise barely lasted a year. He is now employed with a mortgage business.

Evan Eschmeyer entered the NBA in 1999 and played four seasons with the New Jersey Nets. Unfortunately, due to knee issues, he was unable to play much. Despite this, he managed to collect 421 points in 153 games. Due to his ailments, he was forced to retire in 2004. He chose to return to his alma school, Northwestern University, to pursue the renowned JD-MBA program. Isn’t it amazing that he has not only an MBA but also a legal degree? Nice! He has subsequently worked as an entrepreneur, financial director, and attorney.
