Ali MacGraw was born on April 1, 1939, in Pound Ridge, New York, to parents Frances and Richard MacGraw. In terms of education, MacGraw attended Rosemary Hall in Greenwich, Connecticut, and then the prestigious Wellesley College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Ali later opted to pursue a profession in the arts because she was born into a creative household.
