At the auction, Cal learned that the manor was called Jameswood Villa. It was described as requiring “full upgrading throughout.” Going all the way back to 2010, he had seen a Google Streetview image. These two, although the place was no longer in its peak form, were ready for a challenge.

Ideal, But Not Ideal
They had to look it up Dunoon on the map, so Claire was Canadian, and Cal was English, to find out where their new property was located. They seemed to be happy to find out that it wasn’t that far from Glasgow. Claire was planning to attend med school at Glasgow University, so this was ideal for them. The shock had worn off already, and the young couple felt very hopeful about the actual situation.
