A Special Reunion
Both of them wanted the first date and reunion to be even more special than your regular date night. They did not want to watch a movie or go to a restaurant. Instead, they cooked up a plan to have a picnic somewhere scenic. They agreed to meet in Eagle, Co., a two-hour drive from her place in Grand Junction. Regardless of the distance, they knew it was the perfect place to reconnect after spending so many years apart. Was second the time going to be the charm?

They picked a date right in the middle of the summer: June 28, 2007. The heat enveloped them as they enjoyed the picnic and rekindled their union. Page was 34 years old at the time and drove down 120 miles to go on the special date with her first husband. As nighttime drew closer, the date winded down and she prepared to go home. The sky was starting to get dark, and she still had a long way before she got home. They then exchanged goodbyes and she hopped in her car to head back to Grand Junction.
