The U.S. Department of Labor reports that the unemployment rate in Wilmington, Delaware currently sits at 4.1%. While it is not the highest on this list, it is still higher than the state rate (3.5%). Almost 27% of the people of the largest city in Delaware live below the poverty level, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Definitely not fun if you are one of these people.
