Pueblo, Colorado
Pueblo residents face difficulty when trying to find a job since the unemployment rate in the city sits at 4.1% and is above the state average, the U.S. Bureau of Labor reports. Based on stats from the U.S. Census, the poverty rate in Pueblo is at 18.2%, making it the city with the highest poverty levels in all of Colorado. Aside from that, the crime rate is abysmal since in 2016 alone, there were 1,081 violent crimes committed (via FBI stats). It is highly unlikely that this city is the reason people come to Colorado.
