Her Transition
“We are slowly introducing her,” Tammy explained. “The temptation to immediately run in and get her out is too strong to resist. For her to learn how to ‘cow,’ it will be necessary for her to spend some time with them.” Attempting to change a house dog into an outside dog looks to be a classic case of canine transformation. For starters, it is tough for both humans and dogs to cope with the situation. Another factor is that animals need more time to absorb the notion, but Harveigh’s sight of the other cows outdoors probably helped him understand it a little better.
