The Finest Hour (1991)
The Finest Hour, which is set during the Gulf War, could have been better if it was set in a different historical period. The plot centers on two best friends who are also NAVY SEALs. When a lady puts their friendship to the test, “it takes a war to bring them back together.” We can see why the movie was chastised for purportedly making light of the conflict by employing a lousy cliché. With so many inaccuracies in the military aspects, the film appears to be more concerned with the love story than with the conflict. The good news is that seeing Rob Lowe with a ridiculous mustache was entertaining!

Green Zone (2010)
Green Zone was based on a book published in 2006 about the invasion of Iraq in 2003. U.S. Army Chief Roy Miller is played by Matt Damon in the film. It was his job to figure out which information was fraudulent and which was genuine. However, the film’s main flaw was that it converted a true story into a conspiracy theory. Many reviews believed that the picture used a lot of action to disguise the film’s writing flaws. The fact that the action and costumes aren’t really didn’t help matters.
