She definitely did not want people to know her as “that strange girl with the dog.” Kacy got a response from the neighbor the next day, who apparently didn’t take long to respond, and she couldn’t believe how the neighbor reacted! She was thinking at first that it was probably a bad idea but now, she’s glad she did it!

The Neigbor’s Response
Kacy’s neighbor quickly responded to her note and he immediately removed the plants, more than happy to do so. He agreed that household plants were not nearly as important as love, but the question was: Did the animals share real love? The humans would soon find out. They wondered whether the dog and cat would continue to stare through the window at each other or the time they lost would cause the animals to lose interest.
