The Perfect Family
A family living in San Jose found the listing on the website and they fell in love with Taco and Merrill’s story. The family paid Jodi a visit to meet the furry pair and they decided to make the dogs part of their family. Merrill and Taco were thrilled to go to their new home together but it wasn’t a happy ending just yet.

Taco was a senior dog and had a number of health issues, like asthma and dental disease. He actually only had four teeth. However, those problems seemed to be minor compared to what the vet told the family when they took Taco for a check-up a month after the dogs were adopted. Sadly, the outlook wasn’t that good.
