Jeff Goldblum Was Very Confused
As we all know, things don’t always go according to plan when it comes to improvised shows like Saturday Night Live. Isn’t ironic how often bad skits turn out to be the best-received ones of the night.
Will Ferrell’s Harry Caray improvisations in “Space, the Infinite Frontier: Dr. Kent Wahler” made Jeff Goldblum smile as he sat in the audience. This skit has remained one of the most well-known in history to this day, and for good reason.
Jim Carrey Got Shot Down
The end of Jim Carrey’s opening monologue was unexpected, and not at all how he had rehearsed. However, the lady turned him down during his speech. Initially, it wasn’t meant to be this way. All of the rehearsals and practice runs ended with the girl accompanying him.
We’re not sure why everyone assumed she’d say yes, given that she wasn’t an actress or paid performer. As it turned out, Jim Carrey was able to improvise and bring someone else on stage. Every member of the crew sighed with relief.
