Selleck’s family relocated from their home from Detroit, and into California, which was a big leap for him at that time. His mother was a housewife, while his father works as a real estate vendor. During his youth, he learned about having a disciplined worth ethic and was able to pass it down to his daughter Hannah. When commented on the wake of his mother’s passing in 2017, Selleck shares this; “She’s always been there and always been very fair – even when she said ‘Wait till your father gets home,’ which usually was for good reason.”
