In 2001 Selleck took the lead in the A Thousand Clowns Broadway revival. Critics quickly sneaking up Selleck ‘s work as Jason Robards, Jr., felt the part was much better, I mean he won tons of awards to portray that character. The playwright Gardner quickly said, “Selleck always thought of Murray as he was.”

Outdoorsman
Not surprisingly, Selleck is the avid outdoorsman, cartoonist, and gun collector, all of which made him eager to star in Western movies! And he made a star in Westerns. He appeared in movies including The Sacketts, The Shadows, Quigley Under, and Crossfire Trail.
