He has been playing the role of Jesse Stone, a transplanted lawyer since 2005. This role comes from a series inspired by a TV-made film based on the novels of Robert B. Parker. There are currently nine films and Selleck himself recently started producing episodes. Film 5, Jesse Stone: Thin Ice, was actually not a new adaptation, but an original story, created by Selleck!
