Does the water rise too high when you shower? Your drain may be blocked. This can be caused by anything from hair products to the hair itself, but luckily, it’s relatively easy to fix. Mix 1 cup of salt with 1 cup of baking soda, 1/2 cup of white vinegar and pour it down the drain. Let it sit for 10 minutes while you turn on the kettle. Carefully pour about 2 gallons of boiling water down the drain – be careful as it may splash that could burn – then run your hot water tap until the water runs freely down the drain.
