In Search Of Benji
Benji was the first member of his family to awaken on a certain morning. They searched the entire house but were unable to locate him. Stacy became anxious. She violated the trust of the shelter by mishandling Benji. What was occurring? Benji either fled or another event occurred. Instead of informing them, she took a week off from work to search for Benji. She began her search by asking all of her neighbors if they had seen the dog, but to no avail. Benji had apparently vanished into thin air, since he was nowhere to be seen. This displeased Stacey.

Even though the entire morning had been spent searching for and inquiring about Benji, he was nowhere to be located. The next reasonable step, given that no one had seen him, was to post wanted posters. Stacy merely crossed her fingers in hopes that no one from the shelter would spot them. She did not want to let them down after everything that had transpired. There remained two days. Benji hadn’t shown up. The family posted flyers across the neighborhood, but no one ever responded. Stacy felt compelled to give the shelter the truth as they approached this juncture. When she decided to call at last.
