Uzo Aduba – Track and Field
Uzo Aduba’s career skyrocketed after landing the part of Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren in the Netflix original series “Orange Is the New Black,” for which she received two Emmy Awards and two Screen Actors Guild Awards, making her one of only two actors to win an Emmy in both comedy and drama. Aduba excelled as a student at Boston University before becoming a superstar. After growing up in a sports-crazed family, she attended Boston University on a track scholarship. Simultaneously, she enrolled in opera classes, which piqued her interest in performing. She claimed that sports prepared her for the rigors of show business.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson – Football
There’s no denying that Dwayne Johnson is one of those rare talents who excels at whatever he attempts. His moniker “The Rock” was inspired by his famous posture as a former professional wrestler, which he kept with him as an actor. Others may be unaware that he tried his hand at football. He played defensive line for the University of Miami, where he helped the team win a national championship. However, he was undrafted in 1995 and was discharged from the Canadian Football League after only one season. Regardless, Johnson became one of the best professional wrestlers of all time and one of the highest-grossing actors of all time.
