The team carefully examined the eggs and then paused to talk. Oscar tried to overhear their talk, but he was unsuccessful. He could tell, though, that they appeared to be somewhat upset by the circumstances. The team then carried on. They instantly acted decisively after making up their minds.

While some of them departed with egg samples, others remained to tape off Lily’s room. Oscar, Hilly, and Lily felt awful that no one was permitted inside anymore. Even though they were all aware of the peculiarity of these eggs by this point, nobody was explaining it to them.
