We all knew how proud some of us were with our vintage bucket collections. However, we had to admit that these items were not suitable for use as home decor. We could either store our antiques and collectibles in the basement or mix them in with our other favorite items. We could use the antique or collectible as a floral arrangement or a shadow box, for example.

We understand the desire to extend the life of our sofas, but we would not advise covering them with plastic covers to keep them safe. Even if it was in perfect condition, it would be unappealing. We should consider taking a minor risk to avoid making our sofas look unsightly and allow our sofas to be freely seated. We could conceal the vulnerable areas, and everyone would be pleased with the result.
