Over-The-Range Microwave
A microwave directly over the burner, whether it has a steam vent, implies either A) you live in a studio apartment, B) you live in a motel, or C) the architect cut some big corners on your kitchen architecture. Take a peek at the underside if you want to see that this is a terrible idea: the plastic can get bent or fried from the sun or caked with grease and grime. Even if you don’t mind, you should also be concerned about how your microwave would finally break down due to the sun.
Barnhouse Theme
There’s nothing wrong with having a rustic look in your kitchen, but you’ve gone too far if you have sliding barn doors, ceramic farm animals, hanging steel lamps, and milk pitchers as flower vases. The only thing lacking is a flock of live chickens. So unless you’re attempting to complement the majority of the house’s furniture, forget about the ceramic roosters and leave this over-the-top decor in the nineteenth century.
