Miley Cyrus
Cyrus rose to fame as the title character of the Disney Channel television series Hannah Montana (2006–2011). She is the daughter of country music musician Billy Ray Cyrus. Hannah Montana had two number-one and three top-five soundtracks on the US Billboard 200, including the top-ten hit “He Could Be the One” on the US Billboard Hot 100. Cyrus had a generally wholesome image as a teen idol in the early years of her career. Following the 2008 Vanity Fair photo incident, her celebrity skyrocketed, and it was rumored that photographs of Cyrus could be purchased for $2,000 each. In the years thereafter, her image has shifted considerably from that of an adolescent idol.
Lucy Liu
Liu was discovered by an agency while riding the metro at the age of 19. She only appeared in one commercial. Liu has portrayed Ling Woo in the Ally McBeal television series (1998–2002), Alex Munday in two Charlie’s Angels films (2000 and 2003), and Joan Watson in the crime drama series Elementary (2012–2019). Payback (1999), Shanghai Noon (2000), Chicago (2002), Kill Bill: Volume 1 (2003), Lucky Number Slevin (2006), The Man with the Iron Fists (2012), and Set It Up (2013) are among her cinematic credits (2018).
