Luck revealed that Pechanec helped him deal with a shoulder injury which caused him to sit out the entire season in 2017. He said to Quarterback, “It isn’t just that she was willing to do anything she could to help me. It’s that she’s tough. She knows what training is like, what it’s like to feel pain, and what it’s like to have to work really hard. There’s no way I could get through those two months without her.” Pechanec has a professional gymnastics background. She also started a nonprofit called Nest, which advocates for products that are ethically conscious.
