The Houston Texans wide receiver may be currently single, but he most recently dated the rapper Iggy Azalea in 2018. Flirty comments on Instagram started their short-lived relationship. According to People Magazine, Azalea confirmed their relationship when she was interviewed by Y100 Miami but the day after that, Hopkins tweeted this: “Ya’ll [sic] know I can care less about social media, but ya boi is SINGLE!!”

Reflecting on their relationship’s demise, Azalea told Yahoo Lifestyle later, “The unfortunate thing is that when you’re public, there are elements of everybody knowing [about your relationship] that don’t exist when it’s a secret…I’m used to it and it’s my choice to be in this environment because I’m an artist, but people like DeAndre aren’t artists and they don’t want [attention]. And I understand that.” Apparently, there has been no hard feelings; she added, “He’s a really good person. DeAndre is a nice guy, but eventually you have to tell everybody because you can’t keep your life secret forever.”
