Joan Van Ark is most known for her appearance as Valene Ewing on the long-running television series Dallas. She then stayed in the job for 13 seasons on Dallas’ spin-off program, Knot’s Landing. Van Ark has starred in Love Boat, The Six Million Dollar Guy, Bonanza, and M*A*S*H, among other series. She won the Soap Opera Digest Award twice for her role as Valene Ewing. She then returned to Dallas for the 2013 remake. She has also worked as a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race and has done voice work for Archer’s animated film.

Joan Van Ark’s face has shocked viewers in recent appearances. While she is now in her 70s, it is painfully evident that she has had extensive work done on her once-beautiful features. In an interview with the National Enquirer, plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn, who has not treated the celebrity, expressed his thoughts on Van Ark’s appearance: “I believe she’s undergone at least one, if not two, facelifts, resulting in a tight neckline and jawline. Her forehead is wrinkle-free and flat, perhaps as a result of a brow raise and Botox.”
