Photographers and “fans” alike continued to attend Allison’s track and field competitions which only meant one thing. Her fame only continued. But she ignored it all and focused on herself and what she wanted. Stokke studied hard and landed a well deserved athletic scholarship to the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied sociology.

In her first year with the California Golden Bears, Stokke was a participant in various competitions, especially the collegiate track team. In fact, she would break the school record as a freshman athlete! In BOTH indoors and outdoors when reaching a vault of 4.11 m (13 ft 5 3⁄4 in). #girlpower
