Johnny Carson – $300 Million
Firstly, Johnny Carson is basically the original King of comedy – just ask anyone and they’ll say so. At the time of his death in 2005, Carson was worth a hefty $300 million. However he’s not just known for his skills with late night television, but also his heart of gold. He was known for donating to charity quite often. In fact, he donated $156 million to dozens charity institutions, most of which especially helped the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
