“Rowdy” Roddy Piper
Canadian wrestler Roderick George Toombs, AKA “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, is known for his work in the WWF and WCW from 1984 and 2000. “Rowdy” or “Hot Rod” played off of his Scottish heritage and is remembered for his signature kilt and bagpipe entrance music. Plus Piper is in the history books as probably the greatest wrestling villain of all time. While he was never a world champion, he acquired 34 championships in his 42 year career. Outside of wrestling, he was also an actor. Sadly Piper passed away in 2015.
Sting
Over three decades, Sting has held 15 championships in WCW, WWE, and TNA. Although his legacy is far more entwined with WCW as he is considered “The Franchise of WCW”, his time with the WWE is also memorable. In 2016, Steve Borden officially retired from the wrestling world. Currently he’s with the WWE under a Legends contract.
