Detroit Youth Choir
The Detroit Youth Choir brought down the house in their audition on the fourteenth season of AGT. They performed “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis which consisted of singing, rapping, and dancing. The Choir was founded as an organization for the youth to be involved in productive activities in the Metropolitan area of Detroit. The choir received a standing ovation from all the judges but host, Terry Crews, was so emotional and so moved by their story and purpose that he ran out and pressed the buzzer.

Angelica Hale
Angelica Hale at the age of four contracted rare and severe pneumonia which made her severely ill and on the brink of death. She managed to pull through but was left with scarring on her right lunch, permanent scarring. Well, for someone with permanent lung damage she has a set of pipes on her. Her voice is simply breathtaking, crowd-catching, and everything in between. Not in her audition but in the Judges Cuts, she performed “Girl On Fire” by Alicia Keys where Chris Hardwick, who was a guest judge at the time, gave her the golden buzzer. She was only 10 and became the youngest runner-up in AGT history.
