Apparently, if the owner of the unit fails to make the payment on the storage container for a specific amount of time, the debt gets written off and the entire container is then given to the highest bidder. The potential buyers get a couple of minutes to peek inside the unit before the bidding commences. This is the reason many of them have no idea what they will find inside.
