The year 1954 was written on the ribbon! The workers were stunned to realize they had a 60-year-old purse in their hands. It was also surprising to find that the contents were all intact and preserved. As they pulled out item after item, their astonishment only kept getting bigger and bigger.

They found some old photographs in there. Aside from that, it also came with a basketball schedule for the 1953-1954 school year, newspaper clippings, candy wrappers, and a wallet. Inside, they found an ID and Social Security card. They finally saw the name of the mystery owner: Martha Ina Ingham.
