Kelly Holmes

Before she was honored by Queen Elizabeth II and before becoming a dame, Kelly Holmes used to be a professional and competitive middle-distance runner. Her career in the mentioned sport reached its peak when she won a total of two gold medals at the 2004 Summer Olympics that was held in Athens, Greece. Her great performance at the event made the whole United Kingdom very proud. Now that she has retired from competing, she is currently focusing on her foundation, Dame Kelly Holmes Trust.

Angelo Taylor

Angelo F. Taylor is a retired track and field athlete who dominated in several competitions all around the world. If we are going to talk about his Olympic medals, he has a total of three. He got his very first Olympic medal, which happened to be a gold one, at the 2000 Summer Olympics that took place in Sydney, Australia. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, he won his second Olympic medal which was also his second gold medal coming from the Olympic Games. Before retiring, he managed to win his last Olympic medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics – a silver medal. Just like most of the retired athletes, he tried to start a new career as a coach.
